Sax ” Beadle ” Gordon a fait ses premiers pas en musique en accompagnant des pointures du blues telles que Champion Jack Dupree, Luther ” Guitar Jr ” Johnson ou encore Duke Robillard. Saxophoniste de renom basé à Boston, il a participé à un nombre considérable de sessions d’enregistrement et de prestations ” live ” avec les plus grands. Son style allie le blues avec des accents de jazz et de soul mais reste toujours percutant.

Gérard Rodriguez, alias «Homesick Gé», s’immerge dans le blues dans les années 60, influencé par le Blues Boom Britannique et des artistes américains comme la Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
Il monte son premier groupe en 1969 et accompagne divers bluesmen dans les années 70, dont Julio Finn Arnold et Sugar Blue. Gilles Gabisson, harmonica, rencontre Gérard en 1975 et joue avec lui depuis. Leur parcours les mène des clubs de Chicago à ceux d’Austin et Dallas, ainsi que sur les scènes françaises. Après plus de 40 ans d’amitié, ils lancent le projet «The Mojo Twins».
Big Dez is “an explosive mix of feeling, talent, and skill, at the crossroads of blues and soul, funk and rock, ballads and boogie.”
Saxophonist “Beadle” Gordon took his first steps in music accompanying blues greats such as Champion Jack Dupree, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson, and Duke Robillard. A renowned saxophonist based in Boston, he has participated in a considerable number of recording sessions and live performances with the greatest artists. His style combines blues with jazz and soul accents, but always remains powerful.
Part One: The Mojo Twins
Gérard Rodriguez, alias ‘Homesick Gé’, immersed himself in blues music in the 1960s, influenced by the British Blues Boom and American artists such as the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
He formed his first band in 1969 and accompanied various blues musicians in the 1970s, including Julio Finn Arnold and Sugar Blue. Gilles Gabisson, harmonica, met Gérard in 1975 and has been playing with him ever since. Their journey took them from clubs in Chicago to those in Austin and Dallas, as well as to stages across France. After more than 40 years of friendship, they launched the project ‘The Mojo Twins’.
