Grâce à la multitude d’exceptionnels compositeurs, arrangeurs et interprètes de l’époque, THE BLAKETTES piochent, revisitent, « and cook » un répertoire riche et immortel.
Elles invitent à faire un voyage au coeur du Jazz des années 60, et rendent hommage avec passion à ses créateurs : Art Blakey, Charles Mingus, Wayne Shorter, Bobby Timmons, McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, Pharoah Sanders, et bien d’autres encore.

Thanks to the multitude of exceptional composers, arrangers, and performers of the era, THE BLAKETTES draw from, revisit, and “cook up” a rich and timeless repertoire.
They invite you on a journey to the heart of 1960s jazz and pay passionate tribute to its creators: Art Blakey, Charles Mingus, Wayne Shorter, Bobby Timmons, McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, Pharoah Sanders, and many others.
