Les Volunteered Slaves nous reviennent sur terre la tête encore plein d’étoiles après un long voyage intergalactique à bord de leur vaisseau SpaceShipOne, titre de leur dernier album.
C’est tout là-haut qu’ils ont croisé la météorite Michel Graillet, pianiste fulgurant des années 90 dont le morceau hypnotique Auroville raisonne comme une invitation à mieux habiter la terre. Située au nord de Pondichéry depuis 1930, cette cité universelle dessine la voie d’une utopie bien réelle qui cherche à nous réconcilier avec le vivant.
C’est pour porter ce message qu’est né le désir d’un nouvel album et l’envie de le créer sur scène avec le public. Les Volunteered Slaves entrent en Résidence au Sunset le 21 février 2026 et leur histoire risque de vous surprendre !
The Volunteered Slaves return to Earth with their heads still full of stars after a long intergalactic journey aboard their spaceship SpaceShipOne, the title of their latest album.
It was up there that they encountered Michel Graillet, the dazzling pianist of the 1990s, whose hypnotic piece Auroville resonates like an invitation to live better on Earth. Located north of Pondicherry since 1930, this universal city charts the course for a very real utopia that seeks to reconcile us with life.
It was to convey this message that the desire for a new album was born, along with the desire to create it on stage with the audience. The Volunteered Slaves will be in residence at Sunset on February 21, 2026, and their story is sure to surprise you!
