Petit-fils de berger né à Béjaïa en Algérie, Yacine Malek a grandi en Petite Kabylie avant d’arriver en France à l’âge de cinq ans. Marqué par sa rencontre avec Michel Petrucciani qui devint son mentor, il a développé un univers musical unique. Ses mélodies entremêlent une créativité qui transcende les frontières culturelles.

The grandson of a shepherd born in Bejaia, Algeria, Yacine Malek grew up in Petite Kabylie before arriving in France at the age of five. Influenced by his encounter with Michel Petrucciani, who became his mentor, he developed a unique musical universe. His melodies intertwine a creativity that transcends cultural boundaries.
