Né à Casablanca, Samir Aouad, luthiste concertiste et compositeur marocain, signe avec Casablanca une œuvre intime et lumineuse. Véritable poème musical, ce spectacle dévoile les chapitres d’un journal de vie, nourri d’exil, d’amour, de perte et de renaissance. À travers ses compositions, Samir tisse un dialogue entre les traditions orientales et la modernité du jazz. Born in Casablanca, Moroccan concert lutenist and composer Samir Aouad presents Casablanca, an intimate and luminous work. A true musical poem, this performance reveals the chapters of a life journal shaped by exile, love, loss, and rebirth.
Through his compositions, Samir weaves a dialogue between Eastern traditions and the modern language of jazz. His virtuosic and sensitive playing brings the soul of the oud to life, accompanied by five exceptional musicians, for a sonic journey of rare intensity.
