Dans la lignée de Lovano/Frisell/Motian, Trio Brūme réinvente le trio sans basse et dévoile son premier album, Baignade Interdite – un voyage musical aux multiples visages, tantôt tendre et fragile, tantôt sauvage et débridé.
Des boucles obstinées aux envolées lyriques, d’un chant grégorien millénaire au groove drum ‘n’ bass effréné, du blues à la gwerz bretonne : le trio navigue avec une aisance entre tradition et modernité. Les textures sonores de la guitare de Robin Nitram, le chant profond des saxophones d’Oscar Bineau et le drumming mélodique d’Ewen Grall tissent une toile originale, organique et captivante.

Following in the footsteps of Lovano/Frisell/Motian, Trio Brūme reinvents the bass-less trio and unveils its debut album, Baignade Interdite (No Swimming) – a musical journey with multiple facets, at times tender and fragile, at times wild and unbridled.
From obstinate loops to lyrical flights, from ancient Gregorian chant to frenetic drum ‘n’ bass grooves, from blues to Breton gwerz: the trio navigates with ease between tradition and modernity. The sound textures of Robin Nitram’s guitar, the deep voice of Oscar Bineau’s saxophones, and Ewen Grall’s melodic drumming weave an original, organic, and captivating tapestry.
