Né en 93, l’avenir de Pierre Manetti semble déjà tout tracé. En effet, Il est le fils cadet du célèbre guitariste Romane et le frère de Richard Manetti également guitariste. C’est donc sous la houlette de son père que Pierre Manetti esquisse ses premières notes sur la guitare et ainsi, peaufine au fur et à mesure son jeu. En 2009, il remporte le prix spécial Jeunes talents au Festival des Puces de Saint-Ouen. Puis il enchaîne les rencontres qui le poussent naturellement à jouer dans de nombreux clubs de jazz jusqu’au Théâtre des Champs-Elysées pour l’hommage à Django Reinhardt : Django 100. Fort de ses expériences, Pierre nous présente comme le nom l’indique first shot, son premier album. first shot On découvre ici avant tout un véritable groupe où se succèdent les interventions tantôt musclées, tantôt rafinées de Christophe Cravero à l’orgue C2D, du batteur Laurent Locuratolo et du bassiste Henri Dorina. Le jeu guitaristique de Pierre Manetti s’en donne à coeur joie sur les dix compositions originales écrites de sa main. La fraîcheur et l’enthousiasme de ses interventions sont communicatifs et remportent une adhésion instantanée. Doté d’une intensité sans faille sans pour autant s’interdire quelques somptueuses ballades, first shot réussit à nous toucher dans le mille.
Born in ’93, Pierre Manetti’s future seems already mapped out. He is the youngest son of the famous guitarist Romane, and the brother of Richard Manetti, also a guitarist. It was under his father’s tutelage that Pierre Manetti sketched out his first notes on the guitar, gradually honing his playing. In 2009, he won the special Young Talent prize at the Festival des Puces de Saint-Ouen. This was followed by a series of encounters that naturally led him to play in a number of jazz clubs, including the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées for the Django Reinhardt tribute Django 100.
