Entre la rigueur du classique et la liberté du jazz, l’Atres Piano Trio offre une interprétation parfois décalée de la musique d’Astor Piazzolla.
Autour de la pianiste Roberta Di Pasquale, Valentina Manisheva (violon) et Léa Halimi (violoncelle), le trio dévoile, au fil du concert, des anecdotes sur la vie du grand maestro argentin,
ainsi que la genèse de certains morceaux, afin d’inviter le public à écouter cette musique autrement.
L’Atres Piano Trio est un projet présenté en deux formats :
– Le Concert, pour une immersion pure dans le tango nuevo (presenté au Sunset Sunside le 30 janvier 2026)
– Le Concert en Mouvement (mise en scène David Rolland), où le geste et la scénographie prolongent la musique dans l’espace.
Les arrangements originaux de la pianiste Roberta Di Pasquale tracent des passerelles entre le jeu instrumental et le mouvement des instrumentistes sans rien ôter à l’originalité des compositions de Astor Piazzolla.
Between the rigor of classical music and the freedom of jazz, the Atres Piano Trio offers a sometimes unconventional interpretation of Astor Piazzolla’s music.Alongside pianist Roberta Di Pasquale, Valentina Manisheva (violin), and Léa Halimi (cello), the trio reveals, throughout the concert, anecdotes about the life of the great Argentinian maestro,
as well as the genesis of certain pieces, inviting the audience to listen to this music in a new light.
The Atres Piano Trio is a project presented in two formats:
– The Concert, for a pure immersion in tango nuevo.
– The Concert in Motion (directed by David Rolland), where gesture and set design extend the music into the space.
Pianist Roberta Di Pasquale’s original arrangements create bridges between instrumental playing and the movement of the musicians without detracting from the originality of Astor Piazzolla’s compositions.
