Formé au CMDL, le BLF QUARTET propose un répertoire de jazz contemporain communicatif et lyrique. Profondément attaché à la mélodie, qui est constamment placée au centre de sa musique, les compositions du pianiste Baptiste Le Fischer sont influencées par la musique de Shaï Maestro et d’Immanuel Wilkins, afin de créer un univers puissant, émouvant et captivant. Le Quartet se donne le défi de considérer le public comme s’il faisait partie du groupe et de l’intégrer pleinement dans le son et l’interaction, afin de faire découvrir au mieux son identité sonore.
Formed at the CMDL, the BLF QUARTET offers a communicative and lyrical contemporary jazz repertoire. Deeply attached to melody, which is constantly at the centre of his music, pianist Baptiste Le Fischer’s compositions are influenced by the music of Shaï Maestro and Immanuel Wilkins, creating a powerful, moving and captivating universe. The Quartet challenges itself to treat the audience as if they were part of the group, fully integrating them into the sound and interaction in order to best showcase its musical identity.
